Bairds Malt produce a range of quality malts which are used in the brewing and distilling industry, both in the UK and internationally.
Our five maltings are located on the Eastern Seaboard of the UK, in close proximity to much of the UK’s best malting barley growing regions. Each year we intake approximately 290,000mt of UK grown barley, sourced through our merchanting partners who work directly with over 800 UK growers.
We produce over 30 different malt products, including speciality roasted malts from our Witham Roasthouse and our peated malts which are made exclusively at our Inverness Maltings.
Bairds are currently undertaking an expansion in two of our maltings, with additional capacity being introduced to our Arbroath and Inverness maltings to help meet strong demand for quality UK malt.
Bairds Malt operates as a division of Soufflet Malt.
